How many children can I have at a party?

My parties allow up to 20 children in the price. Additional children can be added to any party for a fee. Fees are per head and are as follows:

1 hour party - £3.50. 

1.5 hour party - £4

2 hour party - £4.50 

I do not recommend there to be any more than 25 children at the party so that both you and the children can get the most out of the experience and all can have time with the character.

I cannot perform at parties where there will be more than 30 children there due to health and safety, thank you for your understanding, 

Who is the 'royal assistant'? Is she an extra character?

The Royal Assistant is there to help make the party run as smoothly as possible. She takes care of things like the music/speaker, setting up the next activities, and anything you may need assistance with throughout the party. She is not an extra character :)

Where are you based?

I am based in Southbourne, Bournemouth. Parties up to 8 miles of the Southbourne area is included in any party package price, Any parties further than 8 miles of Southbourne will be required to pay a small extra fee to cover travel costs.

Will the boys at the party feel left out?

Not at all! My party packages are great for boys and girls and any changes that you would like to be made to your party is no problem at all. 

What is your policy on bouncy castles?

Please make sure that your bouncy castle is deflated for the duration of the appearance. This is so that you and the children get the most out of your experience. Bouncy castles are lovely, but they take away from the character being at your party and it can be very difficult for the character to hold the children's attention for long periods of time.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes. A non-refundable deposit of £20 for meet and greets and £40 for 1 hour plus will need to be paid to secure your party and character. The total bill minus the deposit will then need to be paid 3 days before the party please.

Unfortunately, if the deposit has not been paid within the dates given on the booking form, I cannot guarantee your booking. If the remaining balance has not been paid by the dates given on your reminder, unfortunately your party booking can not go ahead. Your deposit will not be refunded in this case. 

Will I need to provide anything?

Don't worry, I bring everything needed for the party. Myself and my royal assistant will bring a bag and small rolling trolley which has everything in from the gift, speaker and microphone to the activities and games.

If you could make sure that there is a big enough area for the children to dance around for the duration of your party that would be very much appreciated. I also recommend having a table and two chairs available if you have selected the makeover add-on.

How do I address the character?

I will be in character from the moment I enter the venue/address, please only refer to me as the character name to keep the magic alive for the children. If possible, please keep alcohol and cigarettes away as my dresses and wigs are very expensive (each character costs me between £500-£1300!) and I want you to have the best photos possible to remember your magical party!

Are you taking any extra COVID precautions?

I can assure you that all equipment used will be sanitised before and after the party, all costumes are washed and steamed after every use, and hand sanitiser will be brought for me and my royal assistant to use before, after and during if need be.

Terms and Conditions

  • Fuel charges apply for bookings further than a 8-mile radius from Southbourne, Dorset.

  • When making an enquiry, your chosen character, date and time will be provisionally held on standby. I secure the date, time and character only once a non- refundable deposit has been paid. Unfortunately, I cannot hold dates without a deposit.

  • Deposits are non-refundable. There are two reasons for this - as soon as the deposit is placed, I begin to plan and buy supplies for your party or event. It also acts as security for both you and me - you know that your desired date, time and character is secure, and I also can plan my books accordingly.

  • The remaining balance is due 3 days prior to the party. I send out a reminder the week of the party. If the remaining balance has not been paid by the dates given on your reminder, unfortunately your party booking can not go ahead. Your deposit will not be refunded in this case. 

  • I do take into account sickness and other unforeseen circumstances and am able to discuss rescheduling if the situation arises, however, the deposit will be retained. On the very rare occasion that I (the owner/performer) may be poorly, I will refund you in full and offer to reschedule. 

  • I stay in full character throughout the performance, therefore I require the organizer, parents, and guardians to be responsible for the children’s welfare at the party/event including behaviour and safety of the children.

  • I will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour and myself and/or my royal assistant has the right to leave at any point if we are being treated inappropriately at the party. Payment will not be refunded in this case.

  • We will arrive and leave at the exact time stated in the booking. If you wish for us to arrive earlier before the guests, then please book additional time for this. If there is a delay for any reason, then you will be contacted on the number you have provided whilst booking.

  • Please ensure there is a parking space available as close to the venue/address as possible as this could possibly delay our arrival. Parking must also be paid for if it is not free at your chosen venue.

  • It is at the discretion of myself to change activities accordingly based on time, space and responses of the children particularly for younger children. 

  • The Princess Pavilion has a valid DBS, insurance, and risk assessment. Please ask if you would like a copy of any of these before your party or event.
